  • System Safety Engineering services for applicable Program Manager Air (PMA)
  • Identify, report, and track hazards
  • Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce safety risk

Experience:

SRCA currently supports the existing US Army Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) and Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) aircraft. Currently, we are expanding systems safety engineering support to NAVAIR Programs of Record (POR) in application of MIL-STD-882E system safety elements.

SRCA maintains a proven record of accomplishment providing quality systems safety services to Department of Defense (DOD) Programs of Record (POR). It is well positioned within the Army Air Engineering Directorate (AED) organization to support Airworthiness, Safety Release, and Safety Confirmation certifications for Army fixed wing aircraft. SRCA maintains an advantage in specializing in systems safety engineering, with the knowledge that “professional hazard analysis” is key to the success of the PMA’s system safety program.

Safety Engineering support provided via SRCA-developed custom software. Features include: tracking and displaying risk levels and reports, providing comparisons between previous and current risk assessments, filtering, and archiving retired or draft states.

Systems Safety Experience:

SRCA has Systems Safety Engineering experience within Army and Navy/NAVAIR programs, and participates in Systems Safety Working Groups (SSWGs) conducted for each program.

We strives to provide focused and professional systems safety services for Piloted aircraft and/or Unattended Air Systems (UAS) pipelines, and work to ensure compliance with FAA, Airworthiness, Flight Clearance and MIL-STD-882E - System Safety Hazard Analysis (SSHA), and Safety Assessment Reports (SAR).
